As the Spelunkbots API continues to develop, the team behind the API will continue to work on AI research into Spelunky. In addition, we hope that other AI researchers begin to explore Spelunky as an interesting research problem. On this page we list any research publications in AI that have explored Spelunky; whether they use our API is irrelevant, we’re simply excited at the awesome work that is emerging.
